Visual Identity design
Maison Nacrée is a concept store whose collections concentrate on colours and their meanings. Most of the pieces are thrifted, but they also create original pieces like candles or soaps.
This project has big plans: from e-commerce they are planning to grow into hospitality experiences. Inspired by colours, of course.
Creation of a subtle and timeless visual identity, ready to accompany any colour palette.
Name meaning: Maison (fr. for home) Nacrée (fr. for pearly.) - home of all the colours
The logotype is inspired by a flower called Diphylleia grayi, that becomes transparent when water touches its petals. Meaning that it can become any colour you could ever imagine. The letter M and N are hidden in the icon.
The identity is accompanied by three typographies, that give out both retro and modern vibes.
The key element of the brand is its photography style - we want each object to be showcased in a relatable and nostalgic story.
